Add liquidity
Adding both tokens to a fund’s pool for LP tokens, and withdrawing them.
Every fund trades in its official Uniswap V4 pool: its fund token against its base asset. Anyone can add both tokens to that pool and receive LP tokens, and withdraw them again later.
Liquidity: both tokens in, LP tokens out. Adding liquidity puts in both tokens at the pool’s current price and returns LP tokens, your share of the pool. Returning them withdraws both tokens at the pool’s current mix, which may differ from what you put in. LP tokens can also fill the fund’s LP auction. The liquidity created at launch stays locked forever.
What you get
LP tokens are your share of the tokens in the pool. Return them to withdraw that share of both tokens at the pool's current mix.
The mix changes as people trade. You may get back more of one token and less of the other than you put in.
LP tokens do not earn swap fees. The pool's chosen swap fee goes to the fund's fee recipient and GlazeCorp, not to liquidity providers.
LP tokens can be sold to the fund's LP auction. Each fund runs an auction that pays USDG for its own LP tokens. When its price suits you, fill it with your LP tokens and receive the USDG; see Fill an auction.
The launch liquidity is locked forever. The LP tokens created at launch can never be withdrawn, so the pool can't be emptied. Liquidity added later can be.
From the fund page
On the fund's Trade tab, choose Liquidity.
Under Add, enter an amount of either token. The other fills in from the pool's current price, and You receive shows the LP tokens you get.
Press Add liquidity, check the review and press Deposit. Your wallet asks to approve each token for exactly the amount entered, then to deposit; a wallet that supports batched transactions confirms them all at once. Only what the pool uses is spent; the rest stays in your wallet.
To withdraw, choose Remove, enter an amount under LP tokens to withdraw (or use the shortcuts beside your balance), check both amounts you receive and press Remove liquidity, then Remove in the review.
Auto slippage is 0.5% and can be set up to 5%. Amounts are checked again before you sign, and a quote lasts ten minutes.
