The price, quoted in the Strategy's payment token, declines in a straight line to zero over the epoch, and the first buyer willing to pay the current price at or below their maximum fills it. A filled epoch restarts at the paid price times the Strategy's multiplier, never below its minimum price. Once an epoch has fully decayed the revenue can be taken for free.
